Hi everyone, I have recently acquired an 86 K100RS from a friend and another friend of mine owned it before him. Sadly, I've watched the bike slowly get destriyed, stripped, or otherwise mistreated and disrespected. So, I got it for 500 bucks and have set out to . . . IDK if restore is the right word. I'd like to try back to where it doesn't look like it needs anything. Currently, it has no headlight, no front fairing, mirrors, no rear master cylinder, the tires are dry rotted, and it is running a little rough but it does run. I made my first repair today; the clutch wasn't working and it turns out it was just out of adjustment. I also put a pair of LED lights on the front which serves to make it legal for the time being. I can't wait to learn all about this bike and get ideas from all you veteran BMW owners. Thanks in advance for your help. Looking forward to getting to know some of you better.
