Hi everyone, I'm Darcy from Australia and have just bought a k100RT 1984, It didn't come with an ECU so haven't started it yet and from what I know hasn't been started for at least 3 years.
Done a little bit of research and have found 2 part numbers - 0227401001 & 0280000313. I know the plug I have is for the 313 ECU but could I change it and use the 001? Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Darcy welKome to the forum. Whereabouts in Oz are you.
AFAIK there is only one ecu for the K100 8 valve engine. Various part numbers are given but one supersedes the other.

There are two control units in your moto. Photos of them are supplied by volador. There is one under the seat for fuel injection control. In the numbers you have supplied, its number ends with 0313. There is one within the frame toward the front of the moto for ignition control. In the numbers you have supplied, its number ends with 1001).

Which one are you after?
