The temps finally made it up to 60F and it was mostly sunny so I decided to ride my 94 RS up to my family's cabin, hang out on the deck over the water and knock back a couple Heineken while listening to some reggae.

I've owned a lot of K bikes and although I have a fondness for K75s, think the K1100LT is an awesome touring bike and the smoothness, power and suspension on my K1600GT are simply amazing, I have to say that my favorite K by far is my 94 K1100RS.  I just feel so at home while riding it and it fits me so well. Yeah, it's kind of a heavy pig in the really tight stuff but anywhere else there is nothing that I'd rather be riding. Not to mention that I think Mystic Red is the best color that ever came out of The Fatherland.

I got in about 80 miles of social distancing this afternoon 5kWXMC4

It's a Bagster tank bag. (from France)  I don't think they make them for Ks anymore.

The base of it is a tank bra that the bag clips to.

Last summer when I was visiting Special K Larry and touring his storage units he pointed out that he had this new red Bagster tank bag that he'd probably never use so I bought it from him for a very friendly price.

Unlike the OEM tank bag, my 14" laptop fits nicely into it. (The OEM tank bag is only big enough for a 10" netbook.)

Yep. That's the same place we stopped last year when you were in my neck of the woods.

Talked to him a few weeks ago. I think real life work is keeping him busy.

One of his latest projects was building an electric center stand with independent controls for each leg.
