I'm in, I was thinking about going up Friday late afternoon and camping overnight. By doing that I'd have first dibs on the plethora of K parts that normally abound. I'm pretty sure Mick will be in attendance as long as there are no dirt roads involved. Reminder Maleny Swap Meet Saturday 14th March 44271
Regards Martin.

I'm out.  Too many commitments on that day and a major family one will take preference.

Sorry about that.  Just keep an eye out for those 75S fairings please Martin.

Standard I think Charlie is the only one to score any K parts. Last year I think there was a set of panniers a single seat and  a "Y" type front brake pipe. With most of the swap meets I've attended there is never if any K bits. Reminder Maleny Swap Meet Saturday 14th March 177381
It's more of a hope to find a goldmine and a social event. Reminder Maleny Swap Meet Saturday 14th March 723598

I scored a nice steak sandwich plus a headlight and set of side covers at the Lowood meeting that Charlie organised a couple of years ago.

I’ll be there but not via bike - having a weekender with the bride up the coast, I’ll be (oh the horror Embarassed ) driving into the meet

Dan you need to take the bike and get the bride to meet you up the coast. That way you can spend more time at the swap meet.
Regards Martin.

Mick made the biggest score two tank badges the ones off the car wheels. There was a K75 naked $3500,00 no reg not going reasonable condition. A set of OEM pannier liners with a OEM tank bag $60.00 VGC, an aftermarket nitrogen filled shock in need of a rebuild $100.00. No burgers, bacon and egg rolls or steak sandwiches they had run out by 0900.

We went to Maleny for a feed at a bakery where we were treated to one of the worst pies we've ever had. It does defy description but I'll try. A nice pastry shell filled with gravy/gruel mix and maybe four small chunks of meat, this had been heated to mouth blistering temperature. I ate the shell after a few attempts at the filling.
Regards Martin.

What counts is the company, which was great. The ride home was interesting when we got to the highway, I'll let one of the others fill in the details.
Regards Martin.
