Hi
So last week i got drunk with a couple of mates and we entered some stupid challenge where we buy old crappy bikes under a certain amount and ride them around the country. Woke up in the morning the owner of a BMW K100! an 8.5 hour road trip later shes here, what a beast! I'll keep my XSR900 as my usual ride, get the k100 on the road safe and legal and use it this summer then next winter i'll turn it into a project bike. As I know zero about the k100 i'll thank you now for answering my stupid noob questions.
Thanks

Hi Tahawai that's a wonderful part of the world you come from and ask away, so far we have solved all the K bike problems many times over.

Welcome, Poor bugger if he buys the GN disapointing in all aspects. Had one whilst in the Army. Made a great communal bike, great for grapping smoko. Was a great shit stir for the fellow who's normal ride was broken etc. offered it to any poor bastard that needed it only bike I owned I didn't give a shit about. Mind you it was a reliable & bullet proof beast.
