K100 RT 1988 with a trailer for sale EOI Brisbane Qld AU. 20180511
Good day all,  I trust you are all safe and well.
Downturn in work and life's unpredictable complexities have forced me into a regretful sell my bike situation.  I've written this ad and deleted it a couple of times now, unfortunately this time I must press send button.
An '88 k100 RT ,  started a ground up rebuild while it was still on the road.

The good:
Low K's 54992 ,  I've done about 15K of them, was a Ulysses club old boys bike when I got it,  the gentleman previous owner had a little off in his garage and scratched his wifes car and got told to sell it.  I bought it with the intention of never selling it.
New tyres Pirelli angel front and battleaxe rear,  new ram suspension front and rear, new fork seals , rebuilt front and rear calipers and master cylinders,  new stainless rotors front and cast on the rear, and all new brakepads and braided brake lines.   Led lights everywhere, fork brace, lots more I've forgotten for sure.
All fluids are fresh, hoses, cables plugs and filters are replaced with new parts , shims are done (one ticks slightly but better too loose than too tight.)
Has an excellent Moorhouse ergo seat and rides like its on rails, comfortable and confident. Full city luggage lockable and waterproof, big Givi top box lockable and waterproof.

Stacks of spares new and second hand to dig up and sell on, probably best if I start another thread for these.   I started buying stainless fixings and fasteners for it so there is a scattering of these over the bike.

The trailer is great,  waterproof and disappears behind me, so easy to tow.  Has some scratches and the clear coat is lifting. Probably needs new tyres.

The bad:
My focus has been on it's running not its appearance, plastics are mismatched,  I dropped it pushing it around here and scratched up the front cowl and its lower so have changed them out for the '86 RT (also for sale) black parts.  The red plastics are here, buyer can have either or both.
The oil pump has started to weep a couple of spots on the floor,  this is the only real issue it has.
stacks of receipts for parts, $5.5K or near to from someone on here. Would love dearly to see it go to a good home.
ask anything or pm for my number or more photos etc.

That is not very good news Nathan I hope all turns around before you manage to sell.

Me too. I was in that position twenty-five years ago and I'm still spitting fireworks about the two bikes I had to unload (a 1972 Moto Guzzi 850-T3 California and a 1953 Ariel VB 600).

Thank you both,  unfortunately I procrastinated this sale too long and now need to sell to stay afloat.
The second bike is an '86 RT  ive kept for its excellent low k's engine,  would be great for someone here to use.
the third bike is an '84 RT  in great condition except for the sprag clutch issue, I dissaembled it and mothballed all the good bits, shout out anything you need.
I've got a set of tuned length headers and supertrapp also a standard exhaust that looks like new.
