Maybe some of you know this event, one of the biggest about classic bikes in Europe.
This year, it was the 100th anniversary of BMW & the 40 years of the K serie.
BMW France did not give a fuck about it...
The BMW K1 club organised a meeting, trying to gather 100 BMW and 40 K1 on the village in the middle of the track.
I wanted to show my K75GS there;
I also asked my brother and a friend to ride my K1 and my K100 "superlight".
It's only 250 km from home, so I attended the event in a single day journey, it would have been a pity to get there with a trailer!
Once there, I'm immediately assaulted by people asking me about the K75GS. It took me more than an hour before I could walk around the exhibition...
I spotted a nice K75S parked near my bike, registred in UK. It appeared to be Walfish from this forum. Nice to meet you!
It's pretty unusual to see a K1 on a race track nowadays!
Apart from K's, some unusual BMW:

Eric Dumas is a passionated man. He loves its R12 from 1939 and would not use another bike to ride the world. Americas, Africa, Europe from NordKap to Greece and, overall, Asia and Russia, specially in winter.
He's the warmest friend I know, who loves the coldest places to ride!

And another friend brought its BMW Magni MB2 to ride on the track:
Sadly, he was not allowed to expose it in the BMW village..."It's not a BMW!"
Yet he enjoyed the track session with this rare bike, at least!
Then it was time to get back by night...
and the day after to remove the bug crust on the fairings!
Nothing matches a mask with paper towels and water to remove these...
