In half an hour the dealership's van will drop off a red 1998 K1200RS with a likeness to the image above, with 57,117 miles, a full Remus zorst but no panniers, in my driveway. The owner walked away from it after not being able to cough up the $1,300 plus late fees for repairs. It has been sitting since March of '22, so needs battery and fuel drained, fluids changed, a Telelever seal. The tyres are good. It runs. It's #2 red K1200RS in my garage. I did not pay much for it.
I'm not hopeless, yet.
