Does anyone out there know if you can buy a fuel rail cover for the k100, I have seen them fitted to the k75 but of no use to the 4 cyl models as rail longer. Plastic or metal , i dont mind, if anybody has a link it would be much appreciated.

CC Products (of San Jose BMW in California USA) used to have a catalogue of that sort of thing. They're still there as a dealership and might still have some laying about.

Here it is in the picture advertising their unnecessary 'Kuhl Scoop'.

I'm not sure it'll fit in the close confines of an RT/LT fairing though. I recall it was intended for bare bones models. S'pose it could be modified at one end.

Yep, poifeck for sending all of the wet and smallish road debris straight into your sparkie area! All that on a massive cylinder head that doesn't need much help in the cooling department to start with! Doh!

Kuhl-looking though.

I made my own cover by using 1mm flat aluminium sheet and then cut and bend legs that can be bolted on using the existing bolts on the rail. I will try and send a photo through.

Some pics would be great, i have removed my RT fairing and have now fitted a k75c handle bar fairing, rad cowling , Rs belly pan, etc , so my fuel rail is looking a little odd sticking out , plus im looking at keeping all the road dirt , wet etc off the injectors etc, so any pics you have of the one you have made would be very useful.

Finally, thanks to the Crazy Frog I can get photos onto the forum. This is the cover that I made for the injectors. A piece of angle and some aluminiun

and two furniture tek screw covers and we cover the area where some people may just want to fiddle with all those screws. Thanks to mick hill for giving me some more ideas.
