no - because all shown details are have to be done with any K engine that should do his job for the next 10 years
that is standard maintenance work.
relativly cheap care if done on time

a lot of the K-drivers solve the probs with "to be ignored" until we get another "K´s poor running" thread

Related to your last picture: The new output seal should not be mounted flush like the old one. It should but left out about 1mm.

OMG!

This is not good news.
Time to remove the oil pan and check the output shaft bearings.
My feeling is that the outside cage of the bearing got loose and freely turned into the bearing carrier and chewing the aluminum. You may need a new engine block or at least the bottom part Sad
When re installing the output shaft, it's a good practice to put a drop of Loctite on the outer race of the bearing.
I previously saw another engine where the bearing carrier was chewed up!

According to this document it`s 0,5 mm.

On the other hand the seal on the picture looks like a older type, newer type should have only one
rather big PTFE lip which should be shaped to lay axial on the shaft......but never had any of these
in my hand only seen drawings and not that good pictures.

Sorry about your bearing Bohumil, you could cross your fingers and hope that it`s only the bearing
(but I doubt it), time will show....good luck!

Bohumil. The newer type of seal should protrude 0,5 mm above the surface, it`s not the distance between
the seal and bearing that should be measured.....look at the document I linked to above.

On the other hand, it`s looking like you have the older type of seal that should be mounted 0,4 mm
lower than the surface.
If your seal have a circular tension spring on rearside of the inner sealing lip, it`s the older type.

Not good but easy to fix, that is a very common bearing. It is used as a wheel bearing on many cars.
