thanks Charlie, I've already seen that one.
the one I'm thinking of may have been under a different thread, but mentioned the pros and cons of dates.
just wanted to refresh availability of everyone.
may need to give a few others time to respond.

The guy on the Stelvio is Josh Evans. Josh is a photographer with AMCN (Australian Motorcycle News). He is also son of one of the clubs members.
The video will give you some idea of the country on the way to the rally.

I am actually in France, and the weather is certainly not the best to ride.
temperature is around 15 degrees, and the sun is hiding on the back of the clouds.
I will attempt to visit Bikerboy.

BMW and most other bike manufactures couldn't care less about there past customers.
Once they have your money you are pretty much on your own. Aside from servicing your bike and charging up the wazoo for Hr. rates and parts.
I find forums such as this very helpful in solving problems and getting advice from other owners.

BMW cares a lot more about past customers than any of the Jap manufacturers, Try to buy a new switch block for a Z1300 Kawasaki like mine.

Find a Fuel Gage for a 85 K 100 RT.

Let's face it, us guys with older (Vintage) bikes are going to have problems. But I know where to find a  new complete wiring harness for a Hutmobile. Eggies in Sana Ana Calif.
