Greetings. Just starting to restore my brother's old workhorse K100 'Duchess' No. 0004525
Unfortunately he rode off into the sunset on another bike a few years ago and the duchess has
been negrected since, she was pretty haggered before, but now needs a lot of tlc. I stumbled
into here whilst trying to work out where to start.
I'll be hunting for any help and advice I can get from this community, and will attempt to document
the restoration should I manage to get anywhere with it.

And as for me, well I'm based in the UK near Jct 9 of the M25,
I've not controlled anything with an engine on public roads in over 10 years now,
my motor revs sorta funny but I've got to stick with the original, my controls and linkages are definitely
a bit iffy and degrading, they are sometimes a proper liability, oh yeah and my tank and pipes are full
of additives that help keep it all going,

I still love bikes though,

Ride safe!
