I just have to share this with you.

This weekend's camping trip was to Talybont-on-Usk in mid Wales and, those who know Wales won't believe this, IT DIDN'T RAIN all w/e. sunny

Welsh weekend Talybo10

Suprisingly, of about 20 bikes on the field, mine was the only BM.

Fortunately there was new loo block, so we didn't have to use this original dunny, which was carefully positioned over a stream. A thin sheet of wood covers the original seat/hole.

Welsh weekend Campsi10

Cheers,
A dry Paul.

You desrved a dry one after your deluge trip to the Southwest. I guess it's only 80 miles as the crow flies to our place but a bit farther round by ferry! Still Sunday was a washout here!

Yes 88, it was a bit of a suprise, especially after the previous w/e in Suffolk where we had a mere 'amber' flood warning. Enough to close the A14 on Saturday morning though.

Paul.

Had I known, we could have made it two BM's, as I only live 40 miles away and could have met up at the Cafe in Talybont, near the canal.

I was out on the RS, Sunday, but headed for St David's rather than Brecon.

Cheers

Beautiful scenery, and a covered 'potty' to boot.
Amazing how lovely and inviting our world seems when the weather cooperates...
