Anyone have a pair of 100RS 16v handlebars and / or mirror adapters lurking in a shed anywhere ? I find the standard bars on the 8v just a bit narrow.

The 'bars shown in B20 of this link with a 25mm bolt-on riser will produce just about the same 'bend' as a standard K1100RS 'bar. Flanders of California also used to offer, and may still do, a 33" length for extra width. I have a set on an R100 Airhead and even slight nudges on the opposite end produce a quick direction change. I've internal, flush, 30mm extensions inside my standard K100RS 'bars on each end and the result is beaut! The mirror spacers can be obtained from Motobins as a kit.

The K1 'bars, though hard to find nowadays, are a nice bend that fall easily to hand as well. Whatever you do, be sure they're 22mm diametre and not 7/8" (22.25mm) lest you wish to have to sand and file off the finish to allow your controls to easily slide on...
