Good day mate
good luck with the project ,look on ebay for the chair they come up time to time
your probably going to have to manufacture your own sub frame no idea of any who make them in Sydney
Kellet engineering in Qld can fabricate frame and forks ( he used to build our racing side cars)
the PO had quote to fit a chair to my RS was around $8000 still can't where they can charge that
Regarding the rear wheel work out size and offset you want buy a blank then get it drilled for studs

cheers Tony

There's SRK Engineering in Bathurst NSW that can do all the leading link etc.
As Toto said above though...it aint gonna be cheap!!

Ive seen std forks used they just don't take the lateral forces as well as leading link also leading link forks give lighter steering plus strength plus depending on set up with brakes under hard braking the brakes actually help keep the nose up and stop changing the trail to a great deal

Mine has the stock front end, with a 15" car rim and adaptor at the rear. I have never had any issues with the forks, though I am sure the leading link would improve braking stability and lessen any chattering around right handers under throttle in more 'spirited' riding. If the steering got any lighter it would be mon-ing all day!

Rossco, that white rig has been for sale for ages! Someone ought to offer him 6k and see what happens.

Here's one that could be a decent price.....though in Aussie terms...it's a " bit of a drive" away.

Depends on what you want the outfit for really.

You are probably over thinking things Bigkev.
This is all you need.
Obviously, for a 3 year old you will need a bigger bucket.

So the 'trouble and strife' is on the back of the bike and the 'tin lid' is in the chair?
IMHO, leading link front ends are for those who want to ride hard and you can get away without one.
Having said that, there may be an increase in safety in having that extra stability and that's important when it's for the wife and kid. I am content with my home made outfit because no-one gets in the chair except Bella the red dog. Anna rides on the back of the bike when she is here. That's the use it gets...apart from carting my bags, fishing gear and bottles of plonk on trips.
Some things, like the adaptor for the final drive and rim, are not easy to come by in a second hand sense. It took me 2 years to find one and that was by sheer coincidence.
To be honest, I think it will cost you less money to buy an already set up outfit like the one Rossco showed us, than to buy yourself a sidecar then have it set up with the earles forks and rear rim etc. Make that bloke a sesnsible offer and then sell your new K bike or keep it as a solo.
My 2 zsloty worth.

By the way, it's a good idea, ( and etiquette) to go to the new member's intro page if you haven't and introduce yourself and tell us what bikes you have.Send pics too. We are all blatant sticky beaks and will look at pics of Bricks all day.

that djp in qld looks good 1 1/2 person fit both wife and kid for a whlie
ring sean kelly in bathurst premierside sidecars about fitting he will make the sub and attach
and give the all important engineers certificate you need for rego in nsw
be sitting down when when talking to him
i enquired a while a go $2000 -$3000 to fabricate and fit plus the cost of sidecar, leading link extra.
leading link front end are the best it is quite scary when you see actually see how much teles flex under the stresses of hauling a chair but they work fine friends of mine have been using teles for the last 20 years plus with out any problems
i have used both in past
fitting a chair is not a cheap even if you do most of it your self
