Talking about the oil seal here. The little black one. Stole these responses from earlier in the post from Rick G and Charlie. Might make it easier for someone else to find.
I am not going to explain why I need this information. On a Thursday. Before a visitor arrives. To borrow a bike for a week.
The side with the tension spring on the lip goes to the oil pressure side.
The domed face points toward the front.
