I saw that ad yesterday, and what I have been trying to figure out is, when did Sean Connery ever ride a K100 in a James Bond movie?
Most of the Sean Connery films were made between 1962 and 1971, so that rules those out.
The only possibility that a K100 could have appeared was in the unofficial Bond film, "Never Say Never Again", which was filmed in 1983. There was indeed a motorcycle chase in that movie, however James Bond rode a Yamaha XJ650 Turbo (which was heavily disguised).
Over the years, motorcycles have not featured heavily in Bond movies. The most notable being when Pierce Brosnan jumped a BMW R1200C off a building in "Tomorrow Never Dies".

I was looking at that and AFAIK the only BMW that Bond rode was the R1200c

The vendor is possibly a bit mixed up. A Bond actor did ride a silver K in a cold war thriller based on a book by a British writer.

Pierce Brosnan rode a K in a film but it was in 'The Fourth Protocol' based upon the book by Freddie Forsyth although it was a K75C.

Best photo that I could find:

I know of the sellers reputation and it would be more likely that he is trying to give the model a bit of sizzle to sell the sausage. He is well known as, well to put it mildly a bit of a schyster and has been dragged through the courts more than once.

Also, he can claim it's an '87 year/model all he wants, but the VIN says the build date's the 3rd month of 1986. That reminds me of the Gold Coast blokes who were selling my bike when I first had a look at it. They said in the ad it was a 1989 model. Turned out it was an 11th month of '86 build date. I ran the VIN on my mobile in the showroom and showed it to 'em on www.realoem.com. I got blank stares, grunts and spotted some drool on one's chin. I had to do the legwork myself to find the real history. They must think buyers are idjuts who've never heard of the intertwebnettron. Jeezum Crow.
