Does any one know what is the difference between 85 and 86 fuel pump holders and are they interchangable?

Is that the white plastic bit or the rubber. the plastic bit is the same and I think the rubber also but not real sure.

The black rubber bit, I have order one of each 85 and 86. I have removed the one from 87 mod and it looks the same as the one in my 85 model. Maybe the 87 mod has an earlier tank?

The only difference would be where the filter basket clips onto the lower part.
