On Friday I bumped in to a stray Swiss chap on a K1100RS and took him up to a local hotel as he was looking for a room.
This morning (Sunday) I was sitting at a pavement table drinking coffee (as you do in France) enjoying the hot sun when the Swiss guy turned up - he had left his wash gear at the hotel. He sat down with a cold beer. Ten minutes later a French/Canadian accent said to us "Bikerboy?", low and behold Crazy Frog had found me and wanted to check out my bike.

Bikerboy, Crazy Frog and the Swiss guy who will be joining the forum soon.

Me and CF trying to look like we have lost our beer bellies! We had to go for a meal and some wine after all that breath holding!

This is what the site is all about. Good to see CF met up with you. I just spent some time researching some ferry trips to France and seems about €160 return from Cork to Roscoff with Brittany Ferries for September.......

France looks great just now and good to see some new members coming ........

I hope CF enjoys the trip......

Olaf

It's very seldom- that I have the opportunity to meet forum members, but this visit was great. It was very short as I had to be on the road the next morning.
I will see if I could organize a meeting for the N.A. members living on the east coast. (maybe in August)

Sounds good you could invite them up to your place for a blizzard and a cold beer. Very Happy

It will be a snow shoveling party. At least the beer will have time to thaw  Very Happy.
