I am trying to modify my 1991 K100rs 16v ABS into a cafe racer, I really want to upgrade my front end! (forks triple tree) I really am interested in inverted forks. Any one have done any thing like this before in this forum? Please help me choose the right set (any other sports bike front end that wil bold on to the frame) that will fit into the frame! If not what kind of modifications do i need to make to the frame?

Please help.

I would have thought that a pair of custom-made triple trees would enable you to fit virtually any set of forks you wanted to a K.

I thought may be if i can find the specs of the frame and tally them to other motorcycles out there i can buy a set which might suit the motorcycle. I really dont know where i can find and try build a new set of triple tree. Any way you make sense too! wil find out where i can make those.

The front end from a Suzuki Hyabusa or the Gsx 1400 will just about go straight in, I have seen a K1100 RS with the hyabusa front end and it looks great. The steering head has almost the same dimentions and use the same headstock bearings.
But why do you want to cut up a real good K100 16v to make a cafe racer, surely it would be just as easy to use a beaten up bike as you usually get rid of the bits that are beaten up.
