I sold this bike in 2009 and regretted it ever since.  I saw it for sale the other week and purchased her (again).
We (OZMaz and myself) drove to Melbourne last weekend.  The original plan was to fly down and ride her back but boy am I glad we used a trailer.

It poured rain from Geelong to Canberra... and I mean some serious precipitation.  We gave the girl a very thorough waterproof test which she passed with flying colours.

After a quick check she fired up and is purring beautifully.  I have just a few (hopefully) minor problems to sort out.

I did something similar a few years ago. We'll I had the intention.

I saw my old K100RT advertised on ebay and not far away. It hadn't actually done a great deal of miles in the intervening 15 plus years. Trouble was that it looked very sad when I got there and at that time Ididn't have anywhere to set about sorting it out.
