G'day All, Have recently noticed when idling in neutral with clutch lever in engaged position, there is a distinct "rattle" from the clutch area. When the lever is pulled into the release position, the rattle stops. This has probably been mentioned many times before but was wondering if this could be a serious issue.Clutch & gear changes work well. Any advice???? Thanks muchly in advance Cheers Tom

I would say it is most likely the diaphram spring and the wire ring rattling because they are getting dry of lubricant.
Have you done a clutch spline lube recently and if not then now is a good time to do one and the diaphram and ring at the same time.
It's no big deal Tom but I would certainly be putting it on the non urgent maintenance list.

G'day All, Rick thanks for that reply. It will be put on the non-urgent list.
Trouble is, when you get to that stage of the clutch dismantle, you feel like replacing the lot... This rattle is very similar as the one in the R65 I had. Thanks again Rick Cheers Tom
