As opposed to the other 3/4 of the year when you are rolling in it mate. Luckily I don't think I could ride it any distance anyway. I keep looking at all the bits and spares building up here and realise how easy it is to get into a mess, but still want more.
Is there something wrong with me (apart from the obvious, get in before you lot).

I think the whole deal with the K1 was doing big Km's with the minimum of fuss.

Autobahns are a given.Hhere in OZ we have the roads but the speed limits are so 1950's

In those days we could do 60mph (100kph) In /on pretty shit cars /mcs.

Ford prefects with mechanical (rods!!) brakes and bikes were "primative",   being kind here.

2013 even non ABS K bikes from the '80s are soooo... advanced for this 100kph regime.

TWB has a sixth sense for the radar/liedar and I thought i had too. Not so in my case recently.

I see the K1 as desirable, and ache to explore it's limits as a long dist tourer. Reality is that my

75 pulls easily over the posted limits (and just in the sweet spot!) so what's a bloke to do?

I'd love one but from personal witness K1200 S if I wanted to outrun the technology.

Anyone live near by?

It is back for sale.

Wonder if I still have my Jedi mind control. I think I might need it to get this one across the line.
