I have seen several posts about changing the K's forks to an inverted type fork. My question is would the forks from the S1000RR swap out?

Given the diameter of the upper fixed tube, I'd say that it would require S1000RR triple clamps/steering stem. The key to fitting them would be the steering-head bearing compatibility with the existing headstock tube.

Checking the part numbers, they are only listed for the S1000RR and HP4. No doubt as the new NineT uses the same forks, it will use the same steering stem and bearings too.

That sounds way easier than the Suzuki swap. I'm guessing a bit more expensive though.

Doubt that given the number of S1000RR's that get crashed from noobs and squids (many SS bikes for that matter).
