I have bought a project, that was an abandoned project... Electric has been cut about in many places.
I have several connectors from the handlebars, headlight and instrument cluster that seem to have no connector to plug into!!
I would gratly appreceite a a picture and some help identifying what I am missing.

My project is currently at a standstill until electrics can be resolved.

Picturs and project progress

Thanks

Freddie

In the 3rd pic the 2 big plugs are the original plugs for the right and left switches on the correct sides.
The 1st pic I presume are the plugs on the switches and if so are AFAIK not OEM for any BMW switch blocks I have seen. As for the 2nd pic I see what you mean by a mess.
Do you have a wiring diagram for the model they show all colours and plugs and numbers in the plugs and wire sizes.

Yes, I have a wiring diagram both from this forum and the Haynes manual, but cannot see how the "un-matched" plugs can fit together. I thought it might have gone into a "connector block" and maybe some alarm system but cannot see it.

Judging from your replies I might be better off matching the wires from handlebars and either solder them to the wiring at the back or temporarily put them in screw-in connector blocks. Or maybe try getting some original K100 hand controls

Just did not want to do this if there was a part missing.

A picture from the under tank area of another K100 non ABS would possibly make things clearer.

Which hand controls have you got. Like I said I have never seen those type of plugs on a K. Either the plugs have been changed or the switches are not from a K.
The previous owner may have had problems with the plugs and changed them then the switchrs migrated to a different bike

nods head with rick ....after seeing the connection pics ...haven't seen spade type connection blocks on any of the "k" bikes

which may mean that the relative functionality to run a k wont be successful at a minimum

better show us a pic of each of the controls I recon

hmm are we guessing yet that the handle bars will be 7/8 also ?

Thank you for the feedback. It kicked my in the back side and I when out and bought complete controls and levers, plus the ignition key panel. Should have a better chance getting somewhere with it now..

Thanks.
