hello everyone, I just picked up this luftmeister 4 into 1 exhaust off ebay. It needs some refinishing, but over all its in nice shape. So my question is, will I have to do any tuning or can a bolt this mamajama on and go? If I do have to do some tuning do I just re-balance the idle? I was told you really cant tune these engines under a load with out doing it on a bench. Here is a link to the exhaust. any in formation will help!

put it on run it and see....if you are concerned just kill the engine mid run and pull a plug to check the mixture and adjust at the AFM if necessary which I doubt will be am issue. I have only ever put on one after market "Zorst" which needed rejetting and this was only one increment richer.
looks great and should sound amazing....

I sincerely doubt that this is an issue worth worrying about.  I have a Lufty on a K100 - works fine.

The way the Fuel injection is set up it is to a large degree self correcting as it delivers the correct fuel acording to the volume of air passed the Maf sensor.
If you started using the FI on a much bigger engine then it would start to get confused but not with the small quantity of extra air that good pipes let through, if indeed they do.
