Well I've just started the strip down today on my 1984 K100RT. I'll be working on it every weekend now till it's done. This is how it starts

Not a bad effort for one day. Just the tank and front mudguard to get off then everything can go away for painting

Oh ya. Easy to  pull apart. Going the other direction is what requires some skills.

Thanks AJ. I am sure I'm going to need all the help I can get putting it back together. I am taking loads of pictures as I am doing it and labelling things as I take them off so hopefully it should be pretty painless  My K100RT Restoration 112350

It's OK just a new paint called rust flake and it needs a couple of coats of clear to hold it and stop the sun getting at itVery Happy
