Floyd -TWB aka Dazza aka GiTH has Suzuki somethings on his RS but A.F.I.K. He has a bigger k75 front hoop and possibly k1100 front brakes. Do a forum search on Suzuki disks and you might find more.

Thanks 88KE - I recall that also - which is what got me thinking and led me to ask the question. Forum search under way Wink

I think it may be that he has Suzuki m/c as well - ill have a dig around.

FYI ive got a complete K1100 front end on my K100 complete with the 18" 1100LT wheel.

Cheers

AFAIK there are no other matches for the K1100 except the R1100 which is the same part number.
The Suzuki discs TWB has are bolted to a K100/K75 front wheel and have spacrs for them so K1100 four pot calipers can be used.
Best price I got was from James Sherlock in UK

An example of the adaption you're going to have to do is demonstrated on Kbikes built by Romestant Design.  The original Beauty used 2-pot Brembo calipers on machined spacers fitted to K75S forks and standard 305mm floating disks. The MC is a 20mm unit. The adapters space the caliper away from the forks and centered over the disks (because they would not fit if tried to attach directly to the caliper mounting lugs).  Apparently, Larry likes the brake lever feel with the weaker calipers & master cylinder combination.

If you can locate a Suzuki/Yamaha/Honda rotor with the correct 6-arm pattern and bolt circle diameter, adapting Brembo or other calipers should be a matter of machining the correct adapter plate I should think.  So, any decision to go to other makes based on lower costs and/or greater availability will have all the advantages gobbled up in the costs and time associated with trying to adapt the rotor to the braking system.
