Spotted this yesterday starting at £99, it seems to have gone up a lot overnight.

Pretty. Not sure its worth the current £3500 let alone the £5250 ticket price on their website.
There was a mint condition, blue K1100RS, including panniers, with only 7500 miles on eBay last week for a buy it now of £2500 and there were no takers.
Check out their website, Unit 56, it has some really cool bikes listed including, don't look Olaf, a mint 1971 Honda CB500 with original pipes.
Also has an Egli Vincent, Krauser MKM1000 and a Laverda Jota(had one).

I notice they say original CB500 Four Ha Ha I never saw a black one on a showroom floor. Brown, Green and Gold and that was your lot.

Ha we had black ones and blue ones too, brown was a horrid colour. Mine was gold and sprayed it black and gold.

Took one out not so long ago, perfect for a nice sunny afternoon run to the sea, but no way would I do a 900 mile weekend on one. Only reason is that its naked and naked will never match a K for comfort.

Yup. My 1973 CB500 was black with exactly the same lines.
It's original ok.

Black in 1971 well I'll be.  I know the blue came out in the next model which was stuff all different in reality.

Silly money - but it is one of the two bikes (out of 14) that I am always regretting I sold. (The other was an XT350).

The CB500-4 looks ok, but those pipes wont last long. They rot out from inside and in no time David Silver will be supplying a new set. No idea what they cost now but when mine went it was cheaper to get an exhaust system made, using the original headers and downpipes.

I remember first time on it the CB500 felt like a turbine smooth machine, but improvements have naturally left it behind.....my last ride was nice but doesn't leave me looking for one. Funny thing was one time I got my hands on a Honda 125SS and it was a really nice machine with a very unique sound.

If I found a Suzuki GT750 "kettle", a CB350 four, or an old BMW single for sale then I might be interested, but not at the prices from that dealer!

A CB350-4 was one magnificent and totally underrated machine......As for the kettle, guy I knew here had one of them same time as I had the 500-4. Seems he still has one or two......

The rather scabby centre stand and the paint chipped off the footrest hanger, are not what I would expect if I were to pay this sort of price for a K.  The way the advert states that the City cases were rare, seems to imply that they were really desirable; I reckon they are not that common because they were not deemed that useful by the buying public when they bought their bikes in the first place.  I remember them on Police-spec K75RTs, and one could not get much gear in them; they are useful for filtering in busy traffic, and not much else.
