Like running my naked K75 with factory fitted screen but do miss some of the lower wind protection the RT fairing offers. Were leg shield available or has anyone made something that looks half decent. John

I do recall seeing a police or paramedic K75 with leg shields, it was european but I can't recall much more than that.
There was a picture of it on the forum about a year or so back.

Not sure about "coolness" but seriously consider the old fashioned Lap Rug.

In it's simplest form, a square of canvas with a slit so it fits over the tank/seat.

Our forebears learned in days before our technology.

I did this once on a winter ride, long distance, toasty!

Don't laugh, it works!

When I was in the Police the majority of our bikes were R80RTs of various vintages, but we had two naked R80s on the fleet.  They had no screens, but were fitted with simple legshields.  They were specified like this to make it easier to get through stationary traffic and reach incidents in the Blackwall Tunnel.  They appeared to be a genuine BMW part; perhaps they could be adapted to fit a K?
