Hi, i am Adrian and i have a much loved K100rs which i have had since 1993 , i might only have a 16 mile round trip to work but the bike is used everyday with the only exception when its icy !!!!! The bike has 72K on the clock so far ( i know just run in ! ) and it will be a sad day when i finally have to change it. See you on the road ! regards  Adrian.

Hi Adrian and welcome to the forum. Since you have the K since 1993 we cant say welcome to the K.

I use mine for work and commuting as well and its an excellent all round bike for that. It has been used in all weathers including when it was icy but in icy conditions only on roads I know so I know there the danger spots are. Getting cold has never been a problem for me, great wind protection and lots of heat. So do you use it for much more than commuting? The forum has a great fun side to it as well as the sharing of technical knowledge and features about K trips. I have met some great people on it and had some great trips too.

Maybe we might get you out on a few or even get you to travel a bit.

You will wear out before the K will so no worries about having to change it.
