Hi Folks, the bike a K75S UK market, 1988, 95K miles. Has the so called "euro" switch set up.
Purchased the Eastern Beaver single H4 headlight in fairing kit.

Installed the kit, only get LO beam, a very bright Low beam I admit, but no Hi beam or Hi beam flash.

Original connector gives me full functionality.
Taking V readings from this plug,I get 12V for low beam (Centre pin) when switched to low beam.

HOWEVER, when switching to high beam, BOTH the low beam pin and the high beam pin get 12V and BOTH
filaments light up.

Now I think this is confusing the EB loom, hence only the low beam relay seems to be clicking.

http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=268.0  Now I read this posting, and it mentions a white nylon wire in the relay box, that if connected gives the above situation, with BOTH filaments lit on Hi beam. It mentions snipping this wire.  Can anyone shed anymore light on this " white wire" in the relay box ? anyone had this problem ?

any help very much appreciated, any photos too, as they are worth 1000 words Smile))

ride safe everyone  Johnny  ( Edinburgh,Scotland)

About the low beam always on, open the relay box and you find a round black
connector which isn't in use.
On this connector you find a white/yellow wire, if you follow this wire you would
find a single connector....disconnect it.

Still your headlight should have functioned as normal (but With both filaments
on high beam) with the relays connected.
I would guess you don't get signal to the high beam relay, check the connection
to the old bulb connector.
