For about a year now the spyglass on my K has been full of oil (even when changing the oil the glass is still completely black so its not just that theres too much in there), how easy is it to get out and replace or drain?

Thanks Smile

The seal is included as a part of the sight glass.

Becky, I was able to do it and I really am a novice at these things. Just collect all the broken bits of plastic as you go. Really is easy. Good luck.

Use a socket the same diameter as the outer edge of the glass.

Smear a thin film of oil on the rubber/plastic gasket of the glass and lightly tap the socket with a rubber mallet (if you have one).

Easy...coming from someone who gets excited when I replace the spark plug in the mower without cross threading it.
