Hi,
I plan to buy my first K bike, it should be a K100 RS 16v. I am looking for one in a reasonable condition. I hope I will find some help in this forum to fix all the problem that I could find in a 20 year old bike ! I am glad to find people sharing the same passion for these bike.
So I am like child waiting for Christmas !

Max

Bienvenue au Forum...

I just spent 3 weeks in France, and I saw only 1 K100. They start to be rare but I know there is still some for sale.

Enjoy the forum.

sad indeed bert

but I predict a growing trend ....  there must be many hiding in sheds around the country I would guess

for many they might be a reprehensible sale to sell for less than their perceived value ....to the owners

in time these might make it into the market .....I just hope they don't get scrapped with the perception that they are an old bike and not worthy of attention

cheers...  hope your trip back home is  a welcome thing

welcome aboard maxi

have fun when you find one

Just back from a week in Normandy, and yep, didn't see any other K100s. Most bikes were BMWs though.

On the boat back, 14 bikes, three fireblades from NI, with a S1000 BMW (they had just done a 1 week circular trip through germany, Italy, and France, I don't know when they had time to sleep (but they did admit to flat-out speeds, and not seeing any sights).  The French bikes were mostly BMWs, new Rs and a GS.

Mine was the oldest ,at 1997.  I apologised in advance for the state of the Irish roads in comparison to France.

I saw three BMWs parked outside Bruno's at the same time.  Alas only two were Ks.

Then we saw a K75RT for sale in one of the bike shops in Perigeaux.  The asking price was E2,000.

You just have to time it better. On our trip back the bike parking on both decks were filled up on the Oscar Wilde. Reckon well over 500 bikes on it. Two K100s. Ours!
