I did try to persuade Snod that separating the frame from the engine was a relatively easy job but I don't think he was convinced.

Well we will let him try get the FJ engine out of the frame, then he will appreciate easy.

Hmm - you might be disappointed by the next lot, especially if you ask for whisk(e)y in a pub. I confess to being a bit of a whisk(e)y snob and that Tyrconnel was very nice. One of the better 10-year old malts I've had.

Whisky = Scots
Whiskey = Irish

I had a good run home. One of the the crew on the ferry recognised me from Thursday's crossing and very helpfully got me the fried breakfast I'd so been looking forward to, even though breakfast serving was long finished. I then slept the rest of the crossing, only to be woken up at the very last moment to pay my food bill. You can't beat that for service - well done Irish Ferries.

I think we'll draw a veil over the next bit, except to say that I got home from Dublin port in eighty minutes and it's a good job there were no Guards on the motorway... Shocked

This is going to be my next treat: http://www.oldpulteney.com/old-pulteney-whisky/1990-vintage-single-malt/

I'm currently very slowly drinking a bottle of 14-year old Balvenie https://uk.thebalvenie.com/

Olaf - I'm not buying any more cheap wallets for these scams!

Those bottles are very small for their age. I migrated to Bourbon a few years back and I refuse to wash my bike in it as I would then get strange looks whilst licking it!

As regards those pics, It looks bloody frosty on the camp site and although a keen campist (as Clarkson would say) I will have to stick to +10c in future due to health considerations. Whose ever mattress deflated must have woken up stiff and cold, unless they had the sense to put a foil blanket underneath the mattress.
