I recently changed the oil in the gearbox and was reminded of what a PITA it is to do that. I made a little funnel of alum. foil to guide the oil to the pan. When I accidentally dropped the drain plug into the funnel, it caused a rupture and oil ran down the center stand, missed the pan and soiled the floor. Arrrrrgh! What a design!
Has any owner had experience with something along these lines?

There is a YouTube tutorial for this http: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzmt_X_yPdM

Its English language but reasonably self explanatory.

I have an old plastic 5 litre oil container that I cut one side out of. One with a spout, so its easy to empty. The Funnel is best made out of hard card or plastic.
