The good thing about that set of panniers by the look of the photos is that they are the "already fallen off" type, so they should be good and secure from now on.

Will these fit on the "standard" Z frame that is on my 1990 LT? My current units leak, and I would be interested in getting these, as long as they fit.

Yeah they fit but what you need to remember is that most if not all of those panniers leak.  The type 3 do hold more, I think it's the lids that are deeper.

A good tip to improve the lid sealing, is to fit some 6mm expanded neoprene strip; the standard seal is 5mm.
