Can someone make it clear just which models coils will interchange with a1986 K100. I can get an almost unused set of1993 k100rs as spares, with orange tops, but as the RS is a16Valve,will they match electrically? I know this might be a dull question, but I've nearly worn a patch on my head scratching it.

No, you can't use 16V coils on a 8V. But keep looking for 8V coils with orange towers
which have spade connectors at the low tension side....16V have round connectors.
