Looks like a new BMW model on the horizon.  I found this on another forum;

http://supermotoo.blogspot.com.au/2015/01/new-bmw-300cc-roadster.html

Any rumours over your way Daz?

A logical move by BMW.
1. The sub-500 class is growing rapidly in Euro/American markets
2. There is a huge existing market in Asia (far larger than Eur/US market potential)
3. AND it'll likely be manufactured in Asia to keep costs (and profits) in BMW's favor

Yeah, that's the new K03 series (internal code), made in India. Prolly arrive as a 2016 model in most markets. There's a GS-ish, naked and 'sports' versions in the pipeline.

It probably isn't, but then the bike isn't designed for chasing the horizon, unlike the K-series.

Knees bent way too much for comfort IMO too.

Why would this toy not even made in Germany deserve the "K" branding is beyond me.

No fairing, no Brick engine, ...  NO WAY !

Agreed, but K03 is just an internal code. The name or number or series will come later.

They might continue the theme and include it in their G series as it's a single cylinder.

What does the "K" model designation mean? Or the "R", "F" or "G" series too?
