In short, recently acquired a non-running 86' RS K100 [had gone for a slide down the road by a previous owner, damaged a number of bits and had sat around for a number of years] like to see if its worth getting it running.
Trying to trace why no spark.
Trolled the forum- followed the suggestions- Solved, by measuring the resistance in the spark plug leads.
Showed up corrosion on one pin terminal to the coil [4] and on the spark plug lead cap to the plug [3], areas i had not thought to look.
The fuel system is working with particular thanks to Rosskko & RT.
So, cleaned up, fired up and running ok.
Still, several other issues to work through - But my point - Thanks to those who participate.

Glad are up and running.

Now the real fun begins. The K is a great bike to enjoy.

Now open for bets on how long it will be before it acquires a mate.

Keep the questions coming up and someone will answer them. There is a wealth of experience and no matter what you meet someone will have met it before. Everyone is very willing to share knowledge and at times parts can be got too.

If its been sitting give her new tyres. Without opening the debate its a case that any new tyre has to be better than ones that are too old and hard irrespective of whatever tread is left on them. They do not like age and anything over 4 or 5 years old should really be binned. They have date codes so 4014 would be week 40 of 2014. Anything older than 11 should really come off. You will notice the difference.
