That is the stuff that is driving the naked/cafe/rat trend.

Along with the fairings on nearly all of the recent motorad products.

Two words: Moto Guzzi.

Okay, three words: Moto Guzzi California.

I really don't like the 1400 Cali and that's a good illustration why.

Yep..have to say that the 1400 Cali is nice to ride, but to go and ruin it like that is a bit of a sacrilege. Don't really understand why the manufacturers want to promote the bad-ass image.

S'Okay Rick.

Looks nasty to me too. Any bigger and they would need to mount a mast and sail on it!

Too much California emssions crap on the California to be able to strip it clean. That's another reason I don't like it. Oh - and all that emissions stuff screws the horsepower right up. My 1978 Cali 850 has a better power-to-weight ratio than that -thing-.

Don't talk to me about bat droppings... Laughing
We have fruit bats in plague proportions here in subtropics. At dusk the sky can go black with thousands of them. They feed on the date palms and drop bat sh!t all over the place. it sets like glue and by morning you can't get it off your duco let alone any washing you left out over night. We had one empale its wing on our TV aerial one night. That was a lot of fun because I had to call the 'Bat Lady' (correct Laughing ) to come and rescue it because they're protected. But not only that, they carry the deadly hendra virus so you're not supposed to handle them...

Sorry guys... its the only photo I could find Rolling Eyes .... hey.. it's nature!

Soak some rags in diesel fuel, let them drain off and suspend them in the tree by fishing line so you can get them down again to treat them again.
From my experience the bats wont go near them. The occasional one will come but not stay.
