Looks like my previous intro post didn't take!

Howdy everyone. Name's Pete I hail from Boston but am originally from California > New York/New Jersey.

I'm on the hunt for a K1 and hope to call my self a flying brick owner soon. I am not nearly as well versed in motorcycle mechanics as the other members on this forum, and I would go as far to say that I'm not mechanically inclined (although I'm looking to take a motorcycle maintenance workshop).

This forum has a wealth of information and I'm looking forward to recruit the wealth of knowledge the members here have, and I hope that in my endeavor to find and build up a K1 I will learn a couple things on the way to be a contributing member.

If anyone is around Boston and wants to meet up or could point me in the direction of someone with a K1 in New England let me know!

Cheers,
Pete Howdy from Boston 905546712

Welcome to the forum, Pete.
We have all grades of mechanics here from complete newbies to those who can identify a washer at thirty paces.
Don't be afraid to ask questions however stupid you think they are. Sometimes it's just that someone has had the same experience and can tell you what to do.
