Right basically when I get the bike sorted I'm going to do more miles on it. Now I'm looking out for a corbin seat, however most of the seats I've seen are for later models (mines 1984) and don't have the pillion handles in the seat.

Now to stay on the right side of law, is there any way of fixing handles onto the original body without drilling too many holes Question

(If I can sort it and get a replacement that is comfier then I will sell mine and offer it on here first. Don't really want to ruin the current seat as it's too nice for that.)

This looks like a 'comfort seat' with the pillion handles.....needs recovering though.

Yup I saw that one but as mine is an RS and that is an RT I was wondering if it would actually be suitable, or would it take a lot of work I don't mind recovering. Never tried it so worth a shot. That's if it would fit.

Ah sorry if I was acting dumb or lazy. I'm still not used to having different models fitting the same bike. Guess I need to get out of the mindset of one specific model for one bike when it comes to BMW.

As of always this website is a genuine help. I'll get it ordered soon as I get my pay check through tomorrow.

No problem Joker, there are lots of bits that vary between models so just keep asking the questions......and this is the best place to do that!

Paul.
