Hi folks,

I live in Glasgow and have had a few sports bikes but liked the idea of having something different ( for me) - doing a sort of drag/racer.
I have a 1984 K100RS - off the road at present but hopefully that will change with the wealth of information in the skulls of this site. :bom:

Hi Ferg

Welcome to the world of Flying Bricks! I also have a K100RS, since November last year and have done more miles on it in the last three months than it managed on average in each of its last 25 years. They are a very satisfying ride, hope you get on well with it. Best of luck
Nigel

Cheers for the welcome boys.
I will have to take some photos of the bike and post them after I return from my holidays, basically I have collaborated with an upholsterer to make a seat unit that lines up with the side panels using a standard fiberglass  unit that had to be widened to suit the fat K100 , this will be sent to me within days, it's got a chrome crankcase, drag bars, purple coolant pipes(not as bad as it sounds) and a Koso speedo.
So all in all it will look great BUT - I sold the old clocks and fitted the new one, getting the usual neutral light nonsense, anyway will be going to the relevant posts to ask about this soon.
