They've tried before.

Still have to ask why it has a K75C headlight fairing if its absolutely original.

I know the bloke who's selling that bike and can say with some confidence that he's not to be trusted.
I've not seen the bike in person but some area's of the bike look too clean, even for a new bike. Aside from the fairing issue,I spotted some rather "new" looking cable ties holding the wiring to the handlebars. Would new K have left the factory like that in '87?

Plus it's dead easy to clock the old Moronics (tm Rick) unit. I've done it twice to ensure continuity of mileage on LFB.

Could this be a case of "Buyer Beware" ?

I once bought a "new" BSA A65F Firebird from the auction that Bonham's hold at Stafford Classic Bike Show.
I saw it there and at the time, the high pipe Dessert Sleds from the 60's & 70's were my thing. The story went that it had been in the hallway of a very large country house since new and it was now for sale. I looked around the bike as best I could and won the auction. I got it home and after a few days drooling over it decided to fire it up-it wouldn't go no matter what I tried-never even fired.
I took it to a very well respected Triumph specialist who rang me back within 24 hours with a list of irregularities as long as my arm, things like the wrong spec carbs for the model etc. Bonham's had listed the bike as new with delivery mileage and as it clearly wasn't, they were in breach of contract and I was refunded in full-PHEW!

Sometimes all is not what it seems.

Remember posting about this a few months ago.
See nobody has bitten his hand off yet.
Regarding the K75 fairing. The K100 that I bought last January had one fitted and it appeared to have been there from new.
Poor paint job, though. Maybe installed by the dealer.
Mine has winged its way to Italy via eBay. Got more than half the bike's purchase price for it.
Way too heavy for what it was.
