So, here's my '85 BM k100rt. Here's what the dashboard shows, when I turn on the ignition:

Turning ignition on. Which lights should start up? 20100513

What about the engine temp? I've never seen it lighting up. Is it normal?

Looks pretty normal to me Vudis.
I assume you have the choke/fast idle lever on?
The temp light only comes on when the motor overheats.
A bit bloody late if you ask me, that why I fitted a temp gauge Turning ignition on. Which lights should start up? Icon_biggrin

Was it hard to fit? I'm thinking about the same thing... I have one temp gauge from An-26 airplane Very Happy Guess it should fit. Besides, it won't clash with the panel Very Happy

Pretty easy
i got my gauges from Ebay
I had to buy a sender from the dealer and thats about £12 I think
you can buy a harness to fit the temp and fuel gauges from Motobins
but I just made my own
I see the wiring info in the download section

Thanks reg_K100RS. I'll try.

I dismantled the panel, but the light bulb, though seemed okay, was installed new, not the chinese bulb, but the genuine Osram... Very Happy The same is with the oil pressure bulb...

Your lights are OK. The coolingwater temp light only comes on when the bike is getting too warm and the fan did not come on or gives too little additional cooling.
