Hi Bo,
Improvisation...I have experienced a pulled nipple and this idea for an emergency repair is quite ingenious....it will get you home and simple at that.

Many years ago my brother was manning a time point for a car rally. Imagine his surprise when a competitor arrived to him with 2 vise grips clamped to the steering column where the steering wheel should be! This ingenious bodge got them back to service where they either welded their own steering wheel or borrowed another. I would love to see the look on a cops face if they happened to be pulled. clutch.... Icon_biggrin
