Greetings from the Central Coast, California!

I'm a long time rider, but new member to this forum. Over the years I've owned many different makes/models of bikes, but the last BMW I rode was a 1994 K75s. I've owned about 6 bikes since then and now after many long years, I'm looking at buying another Bimmer.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you and hopefully meet some of you on a future ride.

Until then, safe travels.

Thanks Guys.  Great to be here.  I'm definitely looking to pick up a clean and well maintained K100RS or K1000RS.  At the moment, I'm trying to decide between two bikes in my area that both look very appealing.

Bimmers are cars. Beemers are motorcycles.

But welcome anyway. Laughing

Funny!  I've owned both and never knew the difference.  I'm a disgrace to the BMW brand.  I hang my head in shame.(o)

Where are you on the CA coast?

I'm a big fan of Hwy 1:

I live in the Pismo Beach area and work in San Luis Obispo.  Definitely some great riding opportunities here on the central coast and Hwy 1 is definitely one of my faves also.  I like the webpage you set up with pics of your past rides. What a great idea.  The California coast as a whole really is beautiful, but Northern California is equally appealing.

Tons of great riding right in your backyard - 58 to McKittrick, Cerro Noroeste, Lockwood Valley and 33.
