Welcome Stephen.
It's always nice to see another Canuck registering here. years ago, I had ties with the BMW club of Quebec. I organized few camping trips between the BMW riders of Nova Scotia and the BMW Quebec club. It was always fun to mix the Francophone and Anglophone community together. After a couple of beers, we all spoke Franglish and the party started.

Cheers,
Bert

Was trying to upload an image to the forum... I used the "host Image" button and went through the prompted steps... the image I wanted to use was visible in the post preview, but then when I hit the "send button" it disappeared...

I did a little searching around the site and tried a couple of other methods, but nothing worked...

Help!!!

Thanks

Stephen

Welcome, Steven!  Hope you are enjoying the search for a brick.  The first is always the hardest.  Then the Kpox will kick in and before you know it you are looking at the wife's car and wondering if moving it out of the garage will make room for 2 or maybe 3 more bricks.

IMO The photo posting procedures are there to prevent anyone over the age of 13 who is not an IT professional from cluttering the forum with photos. I've been here for a couple years now and sometimes I can post a photo, but mostly just give up in frustration.

There is an option on the forum to ban users with less than one week registration to post a picture or an external  link. This option is good to defeat the action of new spammers.
However, the way that the forum is setup should authorize new members to post a picture.
Here is the setting:
Unauthorize members with less than a week registration to post external links and emails : This option is set to NO. (According to my "poor" English comprehension, this setup should give the right to newly registered users to post pictures). lol!

Maybe the setup doesn't work and you may have to wait to be registered for a week. Embarassed

Welcome from one end of the country to the other! Have you bought a brick yet, or just looking? I could not be happier with the 1985 RT I found a month ago-- what a road chomper it is!
