Hi just repaired clocks by replacing transistor to get neutral back!
Question, on the board you have to remove then replace there are some pins to line up. Longish square that fit through are they supposed to be loose or are mine dead?. Think they are connecting all board for gear indicator etc.

If they fit into sockets they should be gripped by the socket as that is the way power gets shifted around inside the cluster. Sometimes one sees discussion of judicious twisting being used to improve connection but I believe that cleaning and treating with DeoxIT is the go, leastways that's what I did to mine.
